Floral Arrangement Post:
I made this floral arrangement to go on my granddaughter's wedding cake. I wanted this arrangement to be a low arrangement to fit between dividers on the cake.
I bought a variety artificial flowers and beaded picks, as seen below.
To start the arrangement I took 5 roses and clip the stems down to approximately 3 inches and put one in the center and the other 4 around the arrangement in different directions. (North, south, east and west.) I left the leaves on them for filler to cover the floral base.
Next I took 7 lilac branches and made the stem approximately 2 inches long.
I place one of them between each of the 4 roses and the other three I placed around the center rose.
Next I added the beaded picks in between the three lilac branches surrounding the middle rose.
Then I added the tulle beaded picks wherever I felt they were needed.
If you have Babies Breath you can use it to fill in any spots that are lacking.
Well the arrangement is ready to go on their wedding cake. I am so excited to be able to make my granddaughters wedding cake for her. My next post will be of the wedding and the cake.
Hope you can learn from this tutorial how to make a low floral arrangement using artificial flowers.
Blessings,
