Recipe Post:
My family was here this weekend and we celebrated our grand daughters birthday. She turn 15 years old. She is a beautiful young lady. She has grown up so quickly. She will be able to get her learners permit in a few short months. Where has the time gone?
One of her favorite deserts is Chocolate Eclair so I made it for her birthday. I added just a few simple decorations to it. She made a wish and blew out the candles and we all got to enjoy it with her.
This desert can be made up in less than 10 minutes and it is yummy.
If you would like to make it, the following is what you will need:
Printable Recipe
1 8 ounce container of Cool Whip
2 packages of French Vanilla Pudding
3 cups of milk
1 jar of Hot Fudge topping
Put 3 cups of milk and 2 packages of French Vanilla pudding in mixer and blend on low speed until it begins to thicken. Add the 8 ounce container of Cool Whip while it is frozen. Blend well.
Cover the bottom of a 9 x 13 dish with a layer of graham crackers.
Then spread 1/2 of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers.
Repeat the layers and then top with a layer of graham crackers.
(You will have 3 layers of graham crackers and 2 layers of pudding mix.)
(You will have 3 layers of graham crackers and 2 layers of pudding mix.)
Heat the jar of hot fudge topping (Lid off.) in the Microwave Oven for 1 minute and spread the fudge over the top layer of graham crackers.
Cool in the refrigerator overnight, before serving, if possible. If you plan to serve it the same day allow enough time to cool in refrigerator for several hours before serving. This will soften the graham crackers.
This desert is so refreshing. The warm summer weather is the perfect time to enjoy this cool treat.
My 15 year old took this picture. I thought it turned out so nice. Her sister is a photographer. All the family has a love for photography.
This desert is delicious anytime season of the year but especially on hot summer days.
Hope you will make give this recipe a try. Perhaps you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Blessings,
