Cherry Brownie Cake

Scripture to Live By:
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Most everyone likes brownies.  I know I do with lots of walnuts.  I also like my brownies frosted.  If you want to make brownies and yet make something that looks elegant this could be it.  

The following is what you will need.  
1 box of brownie mix 
1 can of cherry pie filling
1 can of milk chocolate frosting
1 egg
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup water



Bake brownies as directed on box of brownie mix.  
(Do not over bake or brownies will be hard.)


Cool completely.


Cut in the center as shown above.
Trim any edges that are crisp.

Remove one layer from baking dish and place on serving dish.


Frost the top of the brownie that is on serving dish and then place the other half of brownies on top of it. as seen below.


Then frost around the edges then frost the top.



After the brownies are completely frosted, put cherry pie filling on top of the cake without coming close to the edges because you will put a frosting border around the edge.  



Using a pastry bag and star tip put bottom border on first then do the top border.









Easy to make and yet looks elegant. So tasty too!
