Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and they shall call his name Immanuel (which means, God with us). When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.
Matthew 1:18-25

This 9 foot tree is sitting in my sun room.
Now it is time to start the decorating.
It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
My Christmas Bear collection.
These pictures do not do it justice. This tree is simply beautiful and so full of lights. I love the way it looks and for only $40.00. This is a gift to me this Christmas. I am so thankful to find bargains such as this one.
Blessings!

Oh my a girl after my own thrifty heart. We just had our old house on tour and just about everything in it is a thrift find. I found that I could justify all the ribbon and a pretty garland because I too had found 2 trees for a song. Don't you just love it?
ReplyDeleteYour tree is gorgeous. I love it. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Mart
ReplyDeleteThat is an incredible tree for even $80. And you made it even more beautiful. I HATE the weather here where I live this time of year, but I love the season, and I love visting sites such as yours, which I came across at The Shabby Nest: Frugal Friday. Happy Holidays! BTW, fabulous view out of those windows, and love the lighted tree's reflections in your big windows.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing with Adorned From Above’s Link Party. We love having your join the fun.
